Because every game has random chit draws to populate the map with baddies, you never get the same puzzle twice. Then the "puzzle" becomes how much do you leave behind to keep areas that you've already cleared from being re-infiltrated. So you have a deal of decisions to make going block to block. Top down is always the better choice (except when you rush in to an IED!) but sometimes getting in position to do that is more dangerous than just going bottom up. Once you get to a new block, depending on what you've detected (which may or may not be accurate and is subject to change once you actually get in there), you have to decide on whether to use some of your assets and then decide on whether you're going bottom up or top down to clear it. Then your tactics change to one of a rescue attempt providing cover trying to get the guy out of there.Ģ.
